Bengaluru, Jul 14: Karnataka will maintain the supply of 60 lakh vaccine doses this month too as was done in June, claimed deputy chief minister and State Covid Task Force chief Dr C N Ashwath Narayan on Wednesday.

Speaking to reporters in Bengaluru, he made it clear that the overall monthly rate of vaccination will definitely be maintained even though dips are noticed on some days.

Responding to questions from media regarding a query, during the inauguration of Maruthi hospital and blood donation camp organized by Maruthi Seva Trust in Sheshadripuram, he said, “The state was supplied 60 lac doses of vaccines during the month of June, and in the month of July also the minimum supply of 60 doses will be maintained.’’

"If the situation permits, the union government may also supply more than this. In any case, the monthly average rate of vaccination will be maintained,’’ he asserted.

Dr Narayan said there may be variations and a decrease in the rate of vaccination when it is seen on a daily basis. But, over a period of a month, the average rate will be maintained, he said.

The State Covid Task Force chief admitted that there were a few challenges in preparing to face the possible third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.

However, he said the state government is taking all measures to strengthen the infrastructure by setting up oxygen storage and oxygen generation facilities, deployment of human resources, increasing ICU capacity, scaling up vaccine manufacturing among other things.

The union government is also working towards lessening the burden of Covid-19 management by reducing/removing import duties, fixing price cap, relaxation in GST among many other things, he added.

You are right no free vaccine available last few days and also the 2nd dose is pending. Indirectly people are forced to go to private hospital.. The vaccination should be maintained 1.2cr(twice of 60lakh) as 2nd dose and nee first dose need to be maintained if we speak statistically.. it’s just that private promotion is ongoing…

But Vaccinated people should wear masks? Following recent Divine message on why they should in a message to John Leary dated Saturday, June 19, 2021: (Message mainly to american but also for rest of the faithful or believers)... Jesus said: “My people, you are seeing many places in churches and restaurants where the vaccinated people do not have to wear masks, but the unvaccinated people still need to wear masks. There is definite discrimination for the unvaccinated people because they cannot attend sports crowds and other events. Because the vaccinated people are shedding the spike protein, it should be the opposite where the vaccinated people should wear masks. People, who have had the Covid-19 virus, should be as open because they have antibodies from the virus. You will see even harder times coming for the unvaccinated people because the authorities will keep prompting them to take the experimental vaccine. Refuse to take this shot because it can kill you and change your DNA irreversibly. There is no difference to catch the Covid-19 virus between the vaccinated people and the people with antibodies. When the next wild virus comes out, many vaccinated people could die. Keep your Good Friday oil handy to bless the vaccinated people. Pray for the vaccinated people to see the need to get blessed in this way.”
