Mangaluru, Jul 15: A car accidentally overshot the National Highway flyover road and landed on the road median in Pumpwell here on Thursday, July 15.
It is said that the car belongs to a doctor from the city. The incident was reported while a car was coming towards the city from Thokkottu. The incident took place after a vehicle travelling from the opposite direction splashed water from the puddle on the road over the windshield of the doctor's car.
The result of this led to poor visibility and caused the car to land on the road median between the service road and NH. With help of locals, the car was shifted from the median.
Traffic police rushed to the spot.
