Tharoor, Wife Meet Sonia

New Delhi, Sep 11 (IANS) Lok Sabha member and former union minister Shashi Tharoor and his wife Sunanda Pushkar met Congress president Sonia Gandhi here Saturday, a party source said.

Tharoor introduced Pushkar to Gandhi during the courtesy call at the party chief's residence here, the source said.

"No politics was discussed in the meeting," said the Congress source.

Tharoor and Pushkar tied the knot at Tharoor's ancestral house at Elavanchery in Palakkad district in Kerala last month.
