DISGUSTING !! It appears some of the civil servants , senior government officials and politicians are there only to loot poor people and amass illegal money. Our hard earned tax money is misused by these unfit people. Termination with no service benefits , confiscation of illegal wealth and life long jail term will only be the deterrent to stop corruption.

Ever since bjp is coming to power, corruption is high level In India . This made me to quit in disgust and move to Canada , in 1984. Bureaucracy is many times too much corrupt, and don’t do the work after taking money also. But we must understand the roots of corruptionism also . Petrol is more than 100 Rs and toor dal , mutton all is becoming too much expensive also. From where the poor bureaucrats can feed and educate their kids in govt salary with all PF TDS cuts etc and tax Dept is also harassing many times the innocent people’s who keep some black money for pocket expenses . Here in Canada there is no corruption because there is no right wing extremist govt in power here. Only some odd small time manipulation’s happens sometimes. Vijay Mallya choksi Nirav Modi etc have tried honest business which is failing and govt hounding them because they is close to old govt which gave them loans over the phone to start good honest businesses. But govt is not taking action against the real corrupts like Ambani Adani etc. perfumes liquor Rolex etc is so much expensive and so it tempts many times for bureaucrats to take bribes even though they are actually honest . We must understand the psychology and root cause of corrupts and address it with sympathy not with harsh measures.

Only solution is to make civil services a mandatory obligatory contract job with minimum salary like a short service commission in the army. It must be an obligation of every person to serve the society for three years. This way no one can have long term plans to amass wealth. Or they must make stricter anti corruption laws. But this is unlikely as the leaders are themselves forcing these guys to corruption.

Looks like most of them doing self engineering for their hallow wealth development. Charity begins at home. Similarly corruption begins at home. Medicine required to the infected deep root for a better system. No takes if no givers. Unfortunately, majority becomes takers when people forget 5 years of pain and vote when they receive a gift during last one month before vote resulting corrupt system. Change should start from within first.
