Udupi, Jul 19: About 40 like-minded Christian friends of the ‘Naikr Makkal’ WhatsApp group living in India and abroad collected Rs 41,000 and handed it over to international sportsperson Ganesh Pandeshwar.
He fished for a living and miscreants had stolen his fishing net four days ago. He was devastated on account of that.
He trained children and young men in his free time. Pandeshwar desired to join the police force and the army.
Group admin Alwyn Andrade, Praveen Carvalho, group member Cyprian Pinto, Franklin Fernandes, Navin Dais, Antony Prakash and Allen Crasta were present.
