Chikkamagaluru, Jul 27: Shraddha (19), a resident of Aladagudde near here, ended her life by hanging herself at her home on the evening of Sunday July 25. She was an MBBS degree student.

Shraddha was the only daughter of Dharme Gowda from Aladagudde, who serves as teacher. She had pursued her second PU in Navodaya school, Seegodu near here. She had passed with 93 percent marks in science stream. She had appeared for NEET, having been desirous of getting medical seat. But because of low marks, she failed to get government quota seat. Therefore she appeared for NEET again and got good marks. She had been allotted seat in Karwar Institute of Medical Sciences under the government quota and joined the college.
