Mangaluru: 22 children of Holy Spirit Church receive Sacrament of Holy Communion

Mangaluru, July 26: On the morning of Sunday July 25, boys and girls cladded in pure white suits and gowns along with their parents and family, came with full enthusiasm to receive Jesus for the first time.

It was indeed a glorious day for the lovely 22 children of Holy Spirit Church, Bajal, who received Jesus in the Holy Communion. The children actively participated in the Liturgy. Readings, Psalm singing, prayers of the faithful were all managed by the communicants.

Parish priest Fr Andrew D’Souza was the main celebrant, Fr Anil Crasta. the director of Orbit, Gulbarga diocese preached a beautiful sermon.

Fr Ronald Pinto, the resident priest, organised all the Holy Communion events along with Sr Salomi CSST with collaboration of Thelma Monterio.
