Mangaluru: Youth snatches gold chain from school teacher, arrested

Mangaluru, Aug 4: Surathkal police have arrested a 24-year-old youth for allegedly snatching a gold chain (Karimani) from a teacher.

The teacher who works at Vidhyaadayinee High School in Surathkal was coming from her residence to the school. The incident took place at an underpass near the school.

Acting on tip off, Surathkal police arrested K S Shreyas, a resident of Durgabettu, Shanthipura Koppa, Chikkamagaluru district, from near Honda showroom.

It is said that the youth did his BCA from Govind Dasa College and is currently unemployed.

    One should be ready to do any kind of job .. These youth are misdirected and are behind some dream world which does not exist .. One has to toil and work hard ..ready for even meagre jobs to start with .. BCA ,MCA ..etc is just certificate ..these do not teach you life skills ..Go out ..sell something ..be a mechanic ,helper ,etc etc .. There are ample opportunities ..do not look for that govt job ..it does not exist. Only thing you should not do steal or robbery.

    Ashok mangalore,mentally unstabile people dont steal gold or any valueables.One shouldnt put everything on mentally sick people.Only who are not want to work ,living on others cost should be made to work in stone cutting ferrys.
