Byndoor, Aug 9: "I have been allotted social welfare and backward classes welfare departments where I have ample opportunities, by using which I will honestly try to see that even the last person in the state gets social justice," said minister, Kota Srinivas Poojary.
Speaking to media representatives during his visit to Kollur temple on Sunday August 8 where he paid obeisance to the presiding deity, the minister promised to seriously tackle issues like providing basic facilities to people belonging to scheduled castes, tribes and backward classes. "Methods will be simplified, efforts to pool resources by tapping new plans will be made," he added. He also said that the staff shortage will be addressed only where it is absolutely necessary in order to minimise expenses and advice of experts will be sought to make the provision of pre-exam training to students facing competitive exams in a systematic manner.
BJP executive member Gurme Suresh Shetty, BJP Byndoor Mandal president Deepak Kumar Shetty, temple management committee president, Chandrashekhar Shetty and others were present. On his arrival, the minister was extended a ceremonial welcome. He was accompanied by wife Shantha, and daughter Shruthi.
