Bengaluru, Aug 10: It seems that the rebellion that has cropped up after the formation of cabinet in the new BJP government led by chief minister (CM) Basavaraj Bommai is getting aggravated day-by-day.
After ministers Anand Singh and MTB Nagaraj expressed their unhappiness over the allocation of portfolio, Ramesh Jarkiholi also joined them. Ramesh is disgruntled as his family members were not given any position in the cabinet. For the same reason he has rushed to Delhi to meet the top brasses of BJP.
The surprising fact is that Ramesh was silent throughout the process of change of guard and cabinet formation in the state and has suddenly made entry into the matter. It is said that Ramesh met former CM Jagadish Shettar and took the decision of going to Delhi.
It is also learnt that former minister C P Yogeshwar is also not happy as he did not find a spot in the new cabinet. However, transport and ST development minister B Sriramulu said that he is neither happy nor unhappy about the portfolio that is given to him.
Minister Shashikala Jolle said that she does not have any disappointment over the portfolio that is given to her by CM. Jolle said that her aim is to efficiently manage the department that is given to her.
Meanwhile, disgruntled minister Anand Singh said that he will not do any work that will embarrass the new CM.
