Shoppers Delighted as Mega Consumer Expo 'Home Needs' Opens in City

Mangalore, Sep 24: The ‘Home Needs’ shopping festival exhibition was inaugurated at Milagres Jubilee hall on Friday September 24. The expo will go on till Friday October 1.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Ranganath C Kini, chief whip, Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) council, who said that the exhibition is helping customers in the city get a variety of products under one roof.

Fr Thomas Roshan D’Souza, assistant parish priest, Milagres Church, blessed the exhibition on the occasion.

Vincent D’Costa, United event organizer, said that the exhibition has a wide range of products including Ekvira Air Cooler which reduces the room temperature by 5 to 6 degrees without the need for any water in it and Thaivan Aquarium which welcomes customers at the entrance.

Other products include wall hangings, health fitness equipment, Hercules cycles, leather items, folding sofa cum bed, khadi shirts, cosmetics, chocolates, gift items, and toys. There is a 50 percent discount on all products with a total number of 80 stalls put up. 

Alvyn Rosario, vice-president, Milagres Church centenary celebrations committee, Raymond D’Cunha, and  United event organizer partner Neena D’Costa were present on the occasion.
