Karkala: Nandalike gram panchayat, Abbanadka Club hold job card fair

Karkala, Aug 18: Nandalike gram panchayat and Nandalike Abbanadka Durgaparameshwari friends club held a job card fair under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act 2005 for residents of Nandalike fourth ward at the Nandalike Abbanadka Friends Club auditorium.

Nandalike gram panchayat president Nithyananda Ameen presided over the programme. Nandalike gram panchayat development officer Shankar gave an introduction.

Employment guarantee engineer Deviprakash on the dais informed the gathering the benefits of MGNREG Act. Friend’s club president Udaya Anchan, Nandalike gram panchayat member Padmashree Poojary, Sadananda Shetty, Karkala Arthika Saksharatha Kendra convener Pradeep K were on the dais.

Nandalike gram panchayat secretary Sanjiva Poojary compered the programme and thanked.

Nandalike club convener Abbanadka Saneep V Poojary, former president Kasrabail Suresh Poojary, Abbanadka Sathish Poojary, members Sandhya Shetty, Sulochana Kotian and others were present.

Local people submitted applications for job cards.
