Cyprus, Sep 27: The Indian Catholic Community, here headed by the president and a team of office-bearers, had a God experiencing retreat at St Josephs Hall, under the Holy Cross Catholic Church.
There were people from Mangalore, Karwar, Goa, Belgaum, and Chickmagalore district. With the talks, adorations, inner healing sessions and mass, the retreat was truly a moment for a God experience.
In Cyprus the Catholic Church has four parishes, three administered by the custody of the Holy Land and the fourth by the Diocesan priest of the Jerusalem Patriarchate.
Fr Urban Santosh Fernandes, the parish priest of St John the Evangelist Church, Chendia, the Diocese of Karwar, India, conducted the retreat. As many as 250 people attended the retreat.
The Indian Community is remained grateful to the Bishop of Karwar diocese for sending Fr Urban Fernandes for the retreat.
