Mangalore, Sep 28: Lokayuktha Justice N Santhosh Hegde on Tuesday September 28 allayed rumours that minister Katta Subrahmanya Naidu tried to influence investigations conducted by lokayuktha officials into KIADB land scam issue.

Speaking tp presspersons on the sidelines of Yuva Sammelana organized by the Ramakrishna Mutt here, he reiterated that lokayukta investigations cannot be influenced upon in any manner. Though a few ministers have had a meeting with me, the discussions never veered towards KIADB land scam investigations, he clarified.

Thorough investigations into land scam issue has been undertaken and a report will be ready in 15 days, he said.

Speaking on the ban on iron ore export, Hegde said that it had come to his notice that after export of iron ore was banned from Belekeri prt, the iron ore had been exported from Mangalore port. "I possess the letter exchanged in this regard between forest officer Gokul and port officials, which will be investigated into, he said.

However, Hegde refused to comment when it was pointed out that Chief Minister B S yeddyurappa gained an upperhand in the recent cabinet reshuffle due to the episode of Hegde's resignation and then reinstatement. He also said that notices will be issued against people's representatives, who do not declare their assets. On the basis of the reply to the said notices, action will be initiated, he said.

Mr. Hegde is 100% good person. But one thing we must remember that he took his resignation beacuse of Mr. Advani and Mr.Hegde comments was "Mr.Advani like my father". So if Mr.Advani or any other person who is close to Mr.Hegde ask not to take any action, what will happen? Indian politicians are like Prostitutes.....

It is fortune of Kannadigas that persons like Mr.Santhosh Hedge is Lokayukta in Karnataka who has unearthed numerous curruption cases in the state. One can not even dream that he will budge to any one to do the unlawful favour or succumb to tactics of bringing influence into investigations. He will always uphold the prestige of his late father Sri Kowdoor Sadananda Hegde being true son of Tulunadu.

Being corrupt is the easiest way to make money. After all, being greedy for money / wealth is considered a virtue in india these days. Everybody is corrupt in India.

Poor Gandhiji must be spinning in grave like Muralidaran's googly, because of frustration, thinking why he brought Independence to India. If we were under British rule, at least, commonwealth games might have been scam free...

Mr Hegde Lokayukta, never comes under any influence of anybody on the earth.Had he, then could it possible to bring to light by him so many scandals including mines, medical recruitment,KIDAB,and the live scene of MLA,Sampangi.I was watching the images of Samangi the episode of'CURRENCEY NOTE' FOR JUSTICE ever caught on camera in Karntaka's MLA history and afterwards when Sampangi was caught red handed by Hegde,3-4 of his MLA colligues rounded up Lokayukta by then Loyukta point blankely orderd them to get out of his way else appropriate action will be taken and finally including present minister Renukacaharya faded away from the scene.Mr Hegde is pure, innocent and not a hiprocrite. He is fit to be for the post of GOV or President of India.

It is worng to jump into conclusion how the present rulers voted for power by electorate.Obviously it should not be the reason attributed by you.People, after bored of misrule of Cong/JDS and later JDS/BJP tussle voted for BJP ina hope of value based politics professed by them.It was wrong, voters believed on these elements.Lust for power and greed for money by hook or crook led to the present state of affairs in the state admn resulting at rampant corruption at all levels by persons at high places. For people it is a choice between deep devil and deep sea!

We are now 100% sure that Karnataka is No. 1 in corruption.
However, I still fail to understand how these goons win elections.
Is it Money, Liquor or Religion influencing the voter?
