Dubai: Emirates Putturians Mark Decennial Celebration with Website Launch

Dubai, Oct 2: The annual get-together of Emirates Putturians was celebrated at Ramee Royal Hotel Karama here on Friday October 1.
This was a unique opportunity for all the parishioners of undivided Puttur, (presently Puttur, Maril and Bannur) residing in the UAE, to meet and greet their loved ones with full of fun and entertainment. Uttam Menezes compere for the evening left the audiences mesmerized with his magical words.
Sweet Melodies live band music by Arun Carlo and group in action was a special attraction like it has been for the past years. Lancy Madtha and Joseph Mathias rendered their voices for hit songs.
Alex Gonsalves, president of Emirates Putturians welcomed all the parishioners, well-wishers and guests. The event also generated good support from community members and sponsors, he said. Large number of Putturians had gathered to express their unity to make the event successful.
WWW.EMIRATESPUTTURIANS.COM a website was launched during the event which is designed by Vinod Pais. Antony Mascarenhas, energetic former president of Emirates Putturians honoured during the event with “life time achievement award”.
During the stage programme, Gonsalves felicitated all the sponsors and well-wishers with bouquets to Micheal D’Souza for his undying support to the Putturians together with Joseph Mathias, Lancy Madtha, Alfred D’Costa, Simon D’Mello , James Mendonca, Clarence D’Souza, Gilbert D’Souza, Prakash Mascarenhas, Peter Pais, Oswald Lobo, Oswald Madtha, Kumar Shetty, Agnel D’Souza, Godwin Saldanha, Ashley Saldanha, Lancy Serrao and media partners Daijiworld.com.
