Mangaluru: Three arrested for stealing bicycle, nine cycles worth Rs 1.5 lac recovered

Mangaluru, Aug 30: Three persons were arrested for stealing a bicycle from an apartment in Urwa.

On August 28, the accused stole the bicycle from the apartment. The cycle belonged to a police inspector’s son.

The arrested are identified as Hanumantha (30) from Haveri, Manjuraj (29) from Shivamogga and Shankar Shetty (66) from Kuthar.

Nine cycles worth Rs 1.5 lac were seized from their possession. It is said that they used to steal the bicycles and sell it for lower prices. They were in need of money for consuming alcohol and gambling.

    Stealing Bicycles is a big business nowadays.Mostly high class bicycles are very much needed.Either they sell it further ,or sell as parts.Here they rob bicycles ,store them in a room or in vehicle .later load i ships ,send them to Africa or other countries to sell.

    Hanumantha , Manjuraj and Shankar Shetty's hexed their own leg by robbing cycle belong to police, otherwise they never get caught at any time, think before whom you robbing. anyway no NIA,CBI, ED,BD.

    In fact coastal region never had such issues that matter any community. They were not communal either and Bunts community were having that guttu pride. I cant believe few direction less spoil the name of whole community. If any small things were stolen and caught means big insult in olden days. Since few years all values are gone in the wind. We coastal perople should restore our pride back by electing educated leaders. No matter which political parties they belong. The improvement of the region will give jobs and opportunities.

    All bicycles look like geared one. Simplest one cost 4K. G eared one depend upon number of gears cost appros48K. Cost of 50 cc scotty .Funny thing, when police inspector's son bicycle stolen, I think all police force came in action. Bravo!!!!

    in short every khafir is a nationalist and is a thief ? or are you just happy that a particular sects names are not visible here despite being 25% of the population., Just imagine ,the percentage of the same names that come out from the same community despite being 25 to 30 % .Someone was saying algebra is founded in arabia ..why dont you do some math and see how best you can improve yourself.
