Mangaluru: Man who sexually harassed minor girl arrested

Mangaluru, Aug 31: A person who sexually harassed a minor girl belonging to another community was nabbed and handed over to Ullal police station by the locals.

The accused has been identified as Raviraj (31) from Kinya. He is said to have harassed a minor girl who was going by a bicycle near Sebastian College, Thokottu.

Locals caught hold of Raviraj and turned him over to the Ullal police.

Raviraj paints buildings for a living. It is said that on Monday August 30 he had visited Thokottu for this work. He saw the girl going by a bicycle, blocked her way and sexually harassed the girl, it is said. Locals who saw this, informed Ullal police. The police went to the spot and took Raviraj into custody.
