Udupi: St Mary’s College Shirva holds oath taking on Swaccha Sarvekshana 2021

Udupi, Sep 4: The objective of the survey is to encourage the youth to take participation and create awareness amongst all sections of society about the importance of working together towards making their environment and towns a better place to live in. Additionally, the survey also intended to foster a spirit of healthy competition among towns and cities to improve their service delivery to citizens, towards creating cleaner cities. The central mantralaya of drinking water and cleanliness has set in motion nationwide movement for cleanliness and hygiene in the rural community. St Mary College principal Dr Herald Ivan Monis administered oath under clean India campaign to NCC, NSS and Rangers and Rovers unit students in the college.

Senior under officer Bhat Ramdas Sathish, junior under officers Pravitha V Acharya, Rion Rishi Alphonso, company sergeant major Prathima, company quartermaster Raina Andrade, NSS unit student leaders Akshay, Surekha, Apeksha, Rovers and Rangers student leaders Franklin Mathias and Prathiksha, helped in conducting the programme.

Student council welfare officer Yashoda, college NCC officer lieutenant K Praveen Kumar, NSS programme officer Premnaath, Raksha, Rovers Scout leaders Prakasha, teaching and administrative staff were present.
