SDM Law College Emerges King at 'Rise of Empires-2010'

Mangalore, Oct 5: The two-day national-level fest ‘The Rise of Empire-2010' organised by St Agnes College here concluded on Tuesday, October 5 in all grandeur and majesty. The fest was inaugurated by Dr Mohan Alva on Monday October 4.

At the end of a series of keenly contested competitions like quiz, dance and so on, SDM Law College bagged the overall championship while St Aloysius College secured the runners-up spot.

Dr Mithra N Hegde, head of the department of A B Shetty Institute of Dental Sciences, Deralakatte was the chief guest at the valedictory. In her address she called upon the young minds to be ready to counter future problems and said that what we call success is in fact experience that we gain every day.

Sr Supriya A C, vice-principal of the college, presided over the programme. Tina Patricia D’Souza delivered the vote of thanks.

    Good! it was a good programme.
    photos have come out well.
    we can see the other students performing on the stage. since couldot attend the programme.
    But still more would have done better.congratulations to all the winners and specially oraganisers cabinet members specially those who wroked hard especially jenifer and ulia to bring out this programme. keep it up. take care the small mistakes that you all do in this programmes. Think and act in future. Do your best.
