Abu Dhabi: 'The Picnic 2010 Emirates Paradela Spectacular' Set to Entertain UAE Audience

Abu Dhabi, Oct 6: Emirates Paradela Foundation – the energetic group of veterans based in UAE once again are set to mesmerize the UAE audience and far off gulf countries at the Gold Tulip Al Jazira Hotel and Resort, Ghantoot, on the Dubai – Abu Dhabi Highway when they show case their “The Picnic 2010 Emirates Paradela Spectacular” on Friday 5 November 2010 from 10 a.m onwards.
It will be an eventful day with music, dance, games and food stalls, outdoor games competitions and variety entertainment, with sumptuous lunch - a perfect fun filled day for the entire family outing in the sun.
Emirates Paradela – a name to be reckon who are known for their novel ideas and who have been entertaining the UAE audience since several years. They are known for their unique presentation with lot of surprises in store.
This year’s entertainment include India’s top Goan band “the SKYHIGH” who had entertained during the past Paradela extravaganza two years ago, once again will set the stage on fire with their dazzling live performance, which will include foot tapping an scintillating English, Hindi, Konkani music and songs.
“SKYHIGH BAND” who have travelled extensively around the globe and have gained accolades wherever they have performed with their cauldron of different renditions of foot stomping dance music.
The band consists of Aurville Rodrigues on drums, Blazio Estan on Rhythm guitars/Vocals, Judas Collins on Keyboard/Synthesizers, John Sequeira on Bass Guitar and Elvis Alves on Lead guitar.
The day long event with full fledged entertainment will cater for the multinational audience.
There will be Latino Dancers who had captured the hearts of the people in the last event will once again entertain with their superb dance performance.
Along with the above, there will be other variety entertainment which is as usual is a closed guarded secret by the organizers. The event will have lots of prizes and surprises, which will prove to be a sellout show.
The event will be compered by highly talented Mahesh Prabhu who will be specially flown in from Bahrain along with UAE’s spirited Beena who has carved niche for herself in Abu Dhabi, will keep the audience on their toes with their extraordinary eloquence, wit and humour.
In a communiqué to Daijiworld, spokesperson for Emirates Paradela was enthusiastic and positive that the event will break all records set by Emirates Paradelas in the past. He also informed that buses are being arranged to travel to and from the venue (Abu Dhabi, Dubai & Sharjah) on request with a minimum fee of Dhs.10/- per person.
He also revealed that the entire proceeds generated from this event will be utilised for student’s scholarships, medical aid for poor and other charitable projects. He is hopeful that the event will be a great success taking into consideration their previous track record.
