Mangaluru: MCC orders mandatory Covid test of staffs of hotels, restaurants

Mangaluru, Sep 6: As the covid-19 cases are increasing, to contain the spread of the virus, Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) has ordered the mandatory Covid-19 test for the staff of hotels and restaurants.

In an order issued by MCC commissioner Akshy Sridhar, it is stated that against the backdrop of surge in Covid cases across Mangaluru, it will be mandatory for all the staff of hotels and restaurants in MCC limits to undergo Coivd19 test.

“For public convenience, all the Urban Healthcare Centers have been conducting Covid19 tests in the evening.

“The general public, including staff of hotels and restaurants are hereby requested to make optimum use of the Covid testing facilities,” informed the commissioner in the order.

It may be recalled that Dakshina Kannada had recorded the state's highest number of Covid-19 casualties in the month of August.

    Why only hotels industries???why not full mangalore city?? Does corona enter only hotels?? You mean, corona books the room for honeymoon. Conduct test for entire Mangalore city including Hotels, malls, banks, colleges, Port, airport, railway station, IT Companies, taxi union, rickshaw drivers, Govt officials etc.... Conduct test

    Also check the hygiene and cleanliness in all hotels including small eateries .. and home industries. Dont be corrupt and allow the ones who bribe you.

    Many rules they notify but they don't follow but we need not follow but follow notification for our own good.All authorities better they follow their own rules to save from their shame

    No tests of healthy people are conducted until present planndemic hoax and tyranny. As the tests are useless to differentiate between ordinary seasonal flu or corona and presence of dead minute debris of some viruses in contaminated outside environment it doesn't prove one positive result doesn't convey illness. As such making unscientific tests as mandatory is nothing but waste of money and resources which economically struggling nation like ours needs to be used to rebuild the nation rather than slipping deeper into debts borrowing spree which will compromise our independence and sovereinity.
