Daijiworld's Dayanand Kukkaje Named 'Outstanding Photographer of 2010'

Mangalore, Oct 9: Daijiworld's renowned lensman Dayanand Kukkaje was honoured and adjudged the 'outstanding photographer of the year 2010' by The International Orientation Center and The International Institute for Public Policy, Houstan, Texas, USA and Mangalore .
The occasion was the Celebration of Giving programme held at Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology (AIMIT), Beeri, Kotekar here on Saturday October 9.
Fr Denzil Lobo received the honour of being the outstanding communicator of the year 2010, while Dr Jacinta D’Souza was named outstanding community leader, Anita Cordeiro outstanding executive, Savitha Basri outstanding co-coordinator, Lorraine D’Souza outstanding mentor, Malini Hebbar outstanding toastmaster and Trishma Pinto outstanding gravellier of the year 2010. Fr Ronnie Prabhu felicitated the award winners.
A trophy in honour of the late Wilfy Rebimbus was awarded to Vishwas Rebimbus.
On the occasion a precious artifact donated by Max Rasquinha, Houston, Texas, USA to his alma mater St Aloysius College was inaugurated.
