BJP to Parade 105 MLAs Before Rashtrapathi Bhavan on October 12

BJP to Parade 105 MLAs Before Rashtrapathi Bhavan on October 12

Gabriel Vaz
Daijiworld Media Network - Bangalore

Bangalore, Oct 11: In a bid to mount pressure on the Congress-ruled UPA regime to desist from taking any 'foolhardy' step like dismissal of the democratically elected BJP government in state headed by chief minister B S Yeddyurappa, the state BJP Legislature party has decided to parade all its 105 MLAs before Rashtrapathi Bhavan on Tuesday, October 12.

The state BJP legislature party, which held its meeting at the Golden Palm resort off city limits on the Tumkur Road, decided on the strategy of flying all its MLAs by a chartered flight to Delhi for holding a parade before Rashtrapathi Bhavan on October 12.

The state BJP legislature party has also decided to submit separate memoranda to President Pratibha Patil and Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh not to allow any unconstitutional acts like dismissing a legitimate and democratically elected government in state.

The BJP leaders have also warned that the party would hold nation-wide protests if the Centre went ahead with any foolhardy measures like dismissal of the 28-month-old Yeddyurappa regime and imposition of President’s rule in the state based on the highly partisan and objectionable report sent by governor H R Bhardwaj.

"We will also demand immediate recall of the Governor for his unconstitutional and partisan behaviour,” a party spokesman announced.

The spokesman contended that the Speaker was well within his rights to disqualify any of the MLAs for anti-party activities as per the 10th Schedule of the Constitution under the anti-defection law.

Meanwhile, BJP national general secretary Anant Kumar announced that he would rush to Delhi tonight along with senior BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu for holding discussions with BJP national president Nitin Gadkari, BJP opposition leaders in the lok sabha Sushma Swaraj and rajya sabha Arun Jaitely as well as former deputy prime minister L K Advani and veteran leader Dr Murli Manohar Joshi and others for discussions to finalise the party’s strategy to tackle the political situation.

Congress has hit the nail on its own head by this misadventure along with "APPA Magana" party. Its shame that we have governer who is not impartial, working overtly as congress agent and has been invloved in destabilishing the democratically elected Governemnt. This chap has dragged the constitutional office into controversy and disrepute. Give him one way tickt to Delhi. People will teach congress a lesson if elections are held.

Most politicians of Karnataka are corrupt and greedy for power. Why take sides? Track record says Congress is slightly better! Under their rule corruption was less compared to what we see today!!

What Majority u guys are talkin about. Mnc's support was been counted by the speaker who was taking the side of BJP. The Corruption has reached so much now they are shit scared so the next gove will bring out the corruption made by them to the media hence they need to keep their seats intact. Since we have a very good governor who they are planning to chase them out and proven his abitility by giving them a second chance. This is that what happens when the govt is formed by paying money to MLA's they dont last long and this is what happend here too.

Mr.Surendra Shetty Kinnigoli Nigeria, according to u BJP is a communal, corrupt, but what about JD s and Congress?? Recently Siddaramayya met Kumaraswamy and planned this Conspiracy.Rebels kept in Goa,paid Cores of Money, for each MLA its cost 30 Crores.I don't blame JD s because Gowda and Family most corrupted Political Family in this Country.Congress knows in Karnataka their chance of winning Election is very less,in recent bye election, muncipal election people gave verdict, that's why they planned back door entry, shame on Congress.

This plan was directed by Agent of Congress Bharadwaj.what we expect from Bharadwaj, the guy who defended Qutrochi,...but one thing i will tell you whatever happens PRESIDENT RULE) now onwards it good for BJP.Karnataka people know the game of Congress and JD S....SATYAMEVA JAYATE.

Surendar Shetty, Who said BJP doent have majority. See the calculation below
    Total Seats 225
    Speaker 1
    Disqualified 16
    So now total Seats 208
To have majority BJP should have 104
NOW BJP IS HAVING 105 which is clear majority.

    My qtn :
    1. On what basis governor said 120 MLA are against government?
    2. How can central government impose president rule when BJP having majority.
    3. Speaker decesion can be questioned only bu High court not any governor.

It is clearly evident that Yeddy is desperately obsessed with his seat and power. He did it openly and managed to retain his seat thru unlawful means and nefarious practices. Do you all think that he is interested in the welfare of the people ? He conducts meetings in luxury resorts, takes his ministers on foreign trips on govt cost, now wants to take them to Delhi by chartered flight. Has been desperately visiting temples and donating huge amounts of tax payers' money to mutts and temples.

Do we really need such a fanatic chief minister for a civilized Karnataka state ? Even though he managed to survive at the moment, we don't think people will never make the blunder of electing the BJP government once again in the next election. He clearly and surely knows that this is his last chance and so he is trying to do his best now because it will be "now or never" for him.

It seems the real opposition party in Karnataka is only JDS, though it has 28 mla's it brought down to knees the ruling party(it almost dethroned BJP). Kumaraswamy has guts to tread the path nobody else seems to dare. He is better equipped to rule Karnatka for 5 years. If there is a saner element in all these drama then it must me him only. Yeddi lost all the sympathy he had by clinging on to power(chair) by sham vote, if only he had resigned & paved way for a more able less tainted, young leader then his name would have been ever green like R. Hegde for going to people when all these political farce took place. But to expect all these from todays politicians is like day dreaming & misfortune of todays voters, without having any other alternative.

I saw the full epoisode & counter discussions & arguments. CM wants to parade 105 MLAS . This figure is below majority & this parade will only prove he has no majority. Can not understand why all this? Conclusion is very simple. CM has lost the simple majority & he must resign with respect & dignity . He has used wicked method to win. He has disqualified the Independent MLAS which he has no right & is against democarcy. I do not know whatever Kumar & Cong has done is correct or not but there was no other way than doing that as Govt was totally corrupt & was a communal type Govt & was proceeding without control.Ganhijis dream was communalfree india & we must fight for this cause .Communalism is the worst sickness of india

Whether the decision of the speaker is good or bad, the speaker has shown door to the dissidents who are always blackmailing the govt staying in resort. The role of dissidents can't be justified. This type of dissidency has always been a threat to democracy and blackmailed many govts on previous occasions. This should be stopped somehow. Only stern action by the speaker can stop this ...

You are having only 105 MLAs against required minimum of 113, whom you want to add? Is it Reddy, Somanna, Vijayashankar, etc? They are MLCs and are not accepted for counting to prove the trust vote. Please be in your house and watch any good news channels to hear that good news i.e., your govt is dismissed.

I think Mr. Louis D'Souza/Udupi has lost the mental balance after Yeddyurappa's win. If Yeddyurappa is having 105, how Cong JDS Independents rebels can be 120? I think Governor counted his secretary and himself also. 16 MLAs are already disqualified and only the court can decide whether they need to be counted or not.
I also wonder why all people are questioning the presence of Renukacharya with CM? Was he good when with HDK's rebel camp. Mr. Louis thinks it's easy for President to take the decision, joke of the day...........HA HA HA.

Allthe DW readers - Do we really need to be governed by these fools, donkeys, monkey, unethical and moraleless dirty souls?????? We are better off during British Raj. Where is the flood relief gone, just to buy these MLAs? Where is the booty from Bellary gone? The common man is deprived of his basic rights that is a decent living, decent shelter and and decent food. These dirty souls have lots of public and tax payers money to spend in hotels, charter planes, drinks and on women. Is it the standard of our state? Is it the status of our home state? Disgusting. Please say no to all and let there be for some time Prez rule in ouur state. Let each party do the introspection and wait and mend themselves. We certainly dont need one more election, at the same time we dont need corrupt and unethical government. We want a simple and just government which works for the people of our state. I dont trust Congress, JDS or BJP. Now I have started feeling shame and guilty of calling myself as son of Kannada mathe. I call upon the sincere sons of karnataka to reject all govt formed out of money power and go in for Prez rule. What a shame. Nowhere in other states this type of shameless activities are happening. Disgusting to see Ananthkumar, who masterminded whole drama, smiling and artificially celebrating the victory. I prefer to be governed by outlaws than these thugs with dirty souls.

We all say corrupt politician now you we have corrupt governor also. Mr. Bhardwaj, as a Governor don't have any power to dictate Speaker of the house. Mr. Bhardwaj, has crossed the limit as a governor being a ceremonial head of the state. He did send a FBI agent to England to defreege the bank account of Quattrocci, an Italian friend of Sonia Gandhi when he was law minister in UPA Govt, so that the Bofors scandal money can be taken away by this Sonia friend. Due to that unethical act , he lost the minister's job in the center. Now, as a Cong(I) agent he want to do it again in Karnataka. People of Karnataka and the country won't allow these dirty tricks.
Gowdas the money hungry people desperate to have the CM seat at least for few days / few hours so that their paper work can be pushed forward get sanction for some of their relative’s project.
