Twist in the Tale: MLA Varthur Prakash to Vote for CM on Reddy's 'Request'

Bangalore, Oct 13: In a complete turn-around, Kolar Independent MLA Varthur Prakash has switched parties and decided to vote in chief minister B S Yeddyurappa's favour during the second floor test on Thursday October 14.

It is evident that state tourism minister Janardhan Reddy has had a crucial role to play in the new twist.

Addressing the media on Wednesday October 13 along with Reddy, Prakash said that Reddy had paid him a visit at his residence on Wednesday requesting him to extend his support to the CM, for which he gave his consent.

Asked why he had changed his stance all of a sudden, he reasoned that it was because of the scarcity of representatives from the backward classes in the government.

"In the interest of the state and stability of the government for the next two and half years, I have decided to vote for the BJP government," Prakash told reporters.

Varthur Prakash had thrown in his lot with JD(S) and was at the forefront of the oust-B S Yeddyurappa government campaign in the past one week, before returning to the BJP camp on Wednesday.

Actually one has to appreciate the Governor HC Bharadwaj, for am sure the Reddy Brothers might have approached him with large amoutns of money as bribe to influence his decision and yet he was not influenced with BJP's huge money power.

We should all appreciate the governor for this.

If tomorrow Yeddy wins (which is likely) in coming days he will use all his future time to pull MLAS from other parties as a protection against High court decision. Decision from Governer to give Yeddy a second chance is total Error.Till highcourt decision Governer should have kept Yeddy under suspension .

Our democratic and constituional values being sold mercilessly by the monster politicians. It is disgrace to India and its people.Street dogs are better than our corrupt political leaders. We need only two party democracy that exists in America. If not our tax payers money will be swindled by these ugly political parties. At earliest we need drastic change in the Law of the Land.

If Varthur Prakash was with BJP govt., & later rebelled & went with others & later was disqualified from Vidhana Sabha, then according to the law applied to other independents-he cannot be part of BJP-as he is ineligible for voting as he had sided with BJP after getting elected as independent-which attaracts the same clauses which were used to disqualify other independents.
If the clause says independents lose their seat by swithching or siding with BJP then BJP was ruling this state with no majority, all these years with the help of ineligible independents(according to the clause they applied to disqualify independents) until they got full majority once their own rank swelled by operation kamala. Until the High Court decides this case & interprets the clause, he cannot have the right to vote. What legal experts opine regarding this now?

He is travelling in 2 boats with one leg in each boat. He is pakka indian politician. I think he got big(?) offer fromm reddy. On 5th october he given press statement that his loyalty is against kumaraswamy and yaddy will go home permanently. Today he is giving statement like big political leader. I pity for the people who given vote for him. Due to these MLA's, people hate politicians and hesitate for casting their votes.

Varthur Prakash is a chameleon and slum dog and he does not have manners. The people who have elected him in Kolar, particularly Muslims and backwards will not forget this back stabbing activity and they will teach him a suitable lesson in the next election. This wicked person is talking about welfare of backward classes and backward people know that he is supporting BJP for money.

Vartur Prakash is one of the corrupt politician of karnataka. He was with Siddu some time and went on record to tell that he spent one crore Rupees to Siddu's Chamundi const election earlier.Where this money came from ?.After that he enjoyed power with BJP govt by getting coroporation chairman. However the money he could make on the NIGAMA is little and left the BJP bandwagon earlier. Now my question is how many crores Vartur Prakash got from Reddy?also cabinet berth? This could be a final operation Kamala for J.Redyy/Yeddy because J reddy need BJP govt in Karanataka more than others.
