Mangaluru, Sep 20: Schools reopened for classes 6 and 7 in the district on Monday September 20. Physical classes for 8th, 9th and 10th standard students had begun on September 17.
The schools were sanitised and the teaching staff had been instructed to ensure social distance and wearing of masks by the students. Obtaining parental consent and holding of online classes simultaneously were also advised.
In tune with the decision, classes 6 and 7 physical classes have opened on Monday.
The teaching staff welcomed students on their return to the school after a long gap. In the government higher primary school here, headmistress and teaching staff sprayed scented water and offered roses to students on their arrival, in order to create an atmosphere of being welcomed and to give rise to a feeling of enthusiasm.
