Airports Alerted to Nab Lalit Modi

New Delhi, Oct 15, (PTI): Enforcement Directorate has issued a Look Out Circular against former IPL chairman Lalit Modi at all entry points and airports in the country in connection with its probe into alleged misappropriation of funds in the T20 cricket tournament.

The circular empowers police and other enforcement agencies at these check points to detain the individual who has been flagged and immediately inform the issuing agency-- ED in this case-- about the detention.

Adding to the troubles of the sacked IPL Chairman, the ED has also initiated the process of revoking his passport and is examining the FIR filed by the Cricket Board against him for alleged misappropriation of funds to the tune of Rs 470 crore.

The ED had recently issued an international Blue Notice Alert for detention of Modi for alleged "serious contraventions" of the foreign exchange law in connection with IPL.
The Blue Notice bears Modi's photograph and passport number besides other details.

Modi, however, has said that he has always cooperated with the Enforcement Directorate and that he is ready to appear before the agency personally in London or through video conferencing.

BCCI secretary N Srinivasan had also lodged a criminal complaint with the Chennai Police Commissioner against Modi.

The BCCI charged Modi with misappropriation of Board's funds, mainly in allotting media rights and free commercial rights. The complaint was filed in Chennai as the Board is registered there.

The best thing what Mr.Modi can do is just call up SASHI TAROOR who is relaxing in the god's own land KERALA and offer him the share of Modi's black earnings. Sashi will fix everything up and belive it or not Modi will be back as IPL CHAIRMAN. Gol mal hai bhai gol mal hai.

Lalit Modi will be having the last laugh, as he is in London,he may even take up citizen ship of some other country and start another cricket league leaving the management of IPL &ICC to lick their wounds. Airport alerts are scare tactics for common man and not Modi

When Modi joined & toppled the Rajasthan Cricket Association's ruled by Rungta for about 30 years and he also managed to topple the strong man of BCCI JM Dalmiya........the current BBCI Bosses n group thought that this guy has done a tremendous work & gave more power to him.I believe 100% all the BCCI official's are into money making business. Now Modi has joined hands with Punjab Cricket Association Head Mr.Bindra and if these two combine and before they try to topple BCCI"s now governing body ....the BCCI wanted to hamper Modi badly. So he never comeback and overthrow BCCI.BCCI thaught a lesson to the Strong man of BCCI Dalmiya, made him cry and later on Dalmiya was very quite and won the election"s in Bengal. Now the same BCCI made compromised with Dalmiya and all the cases against Dalmiya were withdrawn.

The reason behind this is both parties agreed not to go against anyoneand can make as much money they can make.Poor Modi...because of his little bit more agressiveness he has to bear all thing"s.ONLY BCCI IS THE KING HERE....and the President Mr.Pawar(Power Savy),who quit congress just bcoz he came to no his dream to become PM of India's was shattered, due to Mr.s Sonia Ghandi..........he is in politics from so many years he know's better to kill the happiness of people who go aginst him as we saw in BCCi election when he lost and told the reporters i will com back and show you all and he did it and made Dalmiya's life miserable and thaught him a lesson.

Modi might have promoted IPL to a great height but that cannot ignore his misdeeds and misappropriation of Association money for his benefits.
