First Ever Shri Vishwakarma Pooja  Held  in Bahrain

Bahrain, Oct 19:
  For the first time ever in Bahrain, the Shri Vishwakarma Pooja was celebrated with devotion, dedication, and reverence under the able guidance and  presence of  well-known astrologer, Vasthushastra  expert and gemstone specialist Ashok Purohith, recently. It took place at the  Shri Krishna Temple Hall(THMC)  and was hosted by the Shri Vishwakarma Balaga, Kingdom of Bahrain.
 
The programme began in  the morning with the  ‘Kalasha Pratishta’ followed by recital of Shri Vishwakarma - Shri Kalikamba ‘Stotras’ and Shri Lalitashtothara Shatanamaavali by the ladies wing of the Balaga.  Thereafter, the devotees experienced a vibrant atmosphere with the devotional songs sung by the ever enthusiastic devotees of Balaga, particularly Shantharam Acharya and Rajendra Pejawar, the  founder president and president, respectively, of Shri Vishwakarma Seva Samithi, Dubai, UAE. 
































At 1.00 pm, the ‘Mahamangalarathi’ took place followed by the distribution of ‘prasadam’ to all devotees. Next was the ‘Mahaprasadam – Anna Santharpane’, sponsored by Shri Vishwakarma Seva Samithi, Dubai. 

Following this, Purohith was honoured with a sandalwood garland, fruits, a cashmere shawl, and a citation read and offered by K B Jagdish, Kinnigoli, the brain behind this successful ceremony.  

Acknowledging the honour, Purohith applauded the event and said that it was a good gathering with devotion and discipline.  He blessed the families of devotees and advised everyyone to continue with their good work and seek the blessings of Lord Vishwakarma. 

 As a token of gratitude for being the sponsors of  the Mahaprasadam-Anna Santharpane, a memento was handed over to the president and founder president of Shri Vishwakarma Seva Samithi, Dubai.

The programme came to an end with words of thanks to the gathering by K B Jagdish,  for their wholehearted support in making the function a grand success.

    Thanks 'Daiji' for beautiful pictures. I am delighted to see photograph of my friend Mr. Vincent and his son. It is really praisewothy how we share the joy of every community. Also, it is evident, the rulers of Bahrain are religous tolerance. Thanks to Khalifa family and the people of Bahrain.
