The DC couple done progress in widening roads, tech savvy administration and brought in some indusries to the coastal districts of Mangalore and Udupi. What is worrying is the incessant torrential rain and the cause may be some indusries which needs study.

Its high time, we the people of Mangalore support the present DC Mr. Ponnuraj who is an able, straight forward person for the development of Mangalore. He is person who was in support of Mangalore Sepecial Economic Zone, by which Mangalorean qualified people would have secured jobs in mangalore than going out of the district and state. The transfer will have direct effect on the development of Mangaore. Its high time we the people stay his transfer at any cost.

My Dear Readers, If BJP doesnt like him then they would have not transfered to Shimoga where BJP is having stronghold. No doubt, Ponnuraj is capable person so BJP wants his service to Shimoga to develop Shimoga like Mangalore. Guys always think positive and dont be like congress who always thinks negative because they are in not in power & they will never ever come to power again in Karntakata.

BJP politicians like Nagaraj Shetty, Krishna Palemar, and others are responsible for his transfer. The worst government Karnataka has ever witnessed was under BJP rule. BJP politicans just want to grab as much as possible before it is too late for them, and will transfer straightforward public officials who will hinder their illegal money making tactics.

It's a real blow to Mangaloreans. All the development works he had done to beautify the city within such a short period will remain unfinished. He had become an eye soar for some. I hope and request that in the interest of Mangalore he be continued till all the works are completed. Good luck Mr. DC. Keep continuing your mark wherever you go.

Mr. Ponnuraj is an excellent DC, but these corrupt politicians do not want him in Udupi or in Mangalore. The government should take the public opinion of transfers, not the opinions of politicians, because they are totally corrupt. I appeal to the government of karnataka, not to transfer the honest officers. Mr. Ponnuraj is an honest officer and we need him in Mangalore or Udupi. Thats all I can say.

There must be STRONG OPPOSITION TO THIS TRANSFER. Opposition must find out the reason behind this episode. When Mangalore can improve overall if this kind of interference from Bangalore continues. I feel Mangaloreans are too soft against AUTHORITITES.

Politicians are very much interested about their self development. They are not at all interested in the Development of State or a particular district. If there is good adminstrator he is highly dangerous for these corrupt politicians and mafia's to carryout their business.
Good luck dear Mr. Ponnuraj.. Mangaloreans will miss you...

It is shocking that good administrators are shunted around all the time.
Who the hell is responsible for this.
The DC must come under the perview of nobody else except the Governor of the State.
These politicians are ruining the country and then saying that Naxalites are like terrorists.
Once a person is appointed as DC of a district, he and his post must be a Governors appointee and not the politicians- lets see how much the local leaders make with this sudden change.
