Bantwal, Oct 3: Rotary Club of Modankap held Swachhata Abhiyan on account of Gandhi Jayanti in association with Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM).
Elias Sanctis, who has led many prestigious organisations like Konkan Overseas Returnees Welfare Association (KORWA), RACHANA Catholic Chamber of Commerce and Industry to name a few, had taken charge as the president of Rotary Club of Modankap, back in July earlier this year. Sanctis led the clean-up drive.
Dr Govardhan Rao, president designate, P A Rahim, secretary, Preema Fernandes, treasurer, Narayana Hegde, Sanjeeva Poojary, two priests of Modankap church, members of Rotary Club and Bantwal town municipality, also participated in the event.
