Mangalore: A J Hospital Celebrates Annual Day with Cultural Pomp

Mangalore, Oct 21: The Annual day celebration of A J Hospital and Research Centre, A J Institute of Hospital Management and Laxmi Institute of Paramedical Sciences was held at the Conference Hall of A J Hospital & Research Centre, recently.

B R Bhat, general manager (IT), Corporation Bank was the chief guest for the inaugural programme and A J Shetty, chairman, A J Group of Institutions presided. Prashanth Shetty, vice president, A J Group of Institutions, Dr Ramesh Pai, dean, A J Institute of Medical Sciences, Dr Prashanth Marla, medical director and Dr Amitha P Marla, director-medical administration were the other dignitaries present.

Laxmish Rai, HR manager welcomed the gathering. The awards for Best Ward, Best ICU, Best Supportive Department and Best Employee were presented on the occasion.The best outgoing students from the M Sc hospital management and paramedical courses were also honoured.  Chief guest B R Bhat and the dean Dr Ramesh Pai, addressed the gathering.  A J Shetty delivered the presidential address.

The annual report of A J Hospital & Research Centre was presented by Irene D’Cunha, billing in-charge and Nirmala Kumari, quality control officer presented the annual report of A J Institute of Hospital Management and Laxmi Institute of Paramedical Sciences.

A cultural programme followed wherein the staff and the students enthralled the audience with their immense talent. Shashidhara Acharya, HR executive proposed the vote of thanks and Reema Mascarenhas, HR executive compered the programme.
