Dubai, Oct 30: Never short of words any time, India’s hottest comedian Naveen Prabhakar captured the Dubai audience with his wit and humour at the ‘Bindaas Bollywood’ show in Dubai on Friday.A very fine evening of variety entertainment started with burly drummer Deva warming the heartbeats of the audience with his non-stop drumming act for atleast 20 minutes. Power and precision combined with a superb timing, Deva silenced the audience with his all round drumming.
But the heartbeats of the holiday crowd went into frenzy as the young Robo Ganesh made his breathtaking appearance as a silver coloured robot that was stunning to say the least. If there was one performer who took the honours of the evening besides Naveen then that credit should go to Robo Ganesh. His performance was not only brilliant but also finely accurate which synchronized effortlessly with the gun shots, sound effects and more.
In the second half, Robo Ganesh again thrilled the crowd with his four-legged walking act that kept everyone guessing. Immediately after, he rushed to the airport for another performance in Udupi.
The man of the evening without doubt was boyish looking Naveen Prabhakar who impressed with his fluent and well-rehearsed lines that sent the crowd into roars of laughter. His interaction with the audience was great and the imitation of bollywood stars was very entertaining. Naveen was pefect when he sounded like Amrish Puri and Sanjeev Kumar apart from his other bouts of jokes that had everyone craving for more. His bar girl encounter with ‘Pehchan Kaun’ mystery saw Naveen at his best.
Mumbai’s Kavitha Soni shimmer in patches with some very nice and not so nice numbers while item girl Seema did not live upto the crowd’s expectations. The back up dancers from Ocean kids added colour with their costumes while on stage. One expected a lot from both the RJs who compered and there seemed to be a missing link somewhere. For sure, there is a huge differencebeing an RJ and compere.
The show presented by Chilly Willy Trading with Al Marai, Star One and Fortune Hotel Group was very well organized and the overall entertainment provided was an excellent occasion to see all that is on offer from the other side of bollywood.
It sure was a thoroughly entertaining show ......kudos to Mr satish of Chilly Willy products for organising an event like this .I do agree that the Rj's were not at their performance best .....I have heard Harsha in front of live audience before and he was good .There seemed to be a missing link smewhere I agree ....But the show was a gr8 one and naveen was awesome .
Hats off to Mr.Arun Muthugdhar for arrangeing us a fabulous and wonderful show.i really enjoyed the phopetshow.thanks to mr satish chilly willy too.
Reading the article and going through fantastic photographs itself says a lot on how successful the program was. Keep up the good show Mr. Muthugadur Aruna and waiting for more.
