Karkala: Police confiscate cattle, cow meat for sale – One arrested

Karkala, Oct 22: In an incident in which the cattle that were tied in order to be slaughtered and also beef meat that was intended for sale were confiscated at Sankalakariya of Mundkoor village in the taluk on Friday October 22.

Police of the rural police station confiscated the cows that were tied near the house of Rahim at Sankalakariya. Sub inspector and police personnel of Karkala rural police station acted on definite information. Five cows and three calves were rescued in the operation. In addition, 25 kilos of beef meat was also confiscated by the cops.

The rescued cows are handed over to Goshala.

A case in this connection is registered at Karkala rural police station.

    It is beyond one's understanding to grasp truth who is the true hindu in India. Hindus living in those states where cow slaughter is banned or the hindus living in those states where cow slaughter is allowed.

    Stanley Sacheripet,anyone who reached age of 18years should have the some sense to understand that Beef meat selling and anything connected to it must stop .Dont go aganst it .Still some people still do it black :I dont understand it. Not only go against sentiments ,but law also.why Beef ?try to eat other meat ,like chicken ,or Mutton.Of course price is high for mutton.
