Karnataka reports 371 new corona virus cases, 7 deaths in a single day

Bengaluru, Oct 23: Karnataka on Saturday, October 23 registered 371 new coronavirus cases.

As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 8,914. Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally stood at 193.

As many as 7 deaths due to coronavirus were reported in the state on Saturday, the death toll in the state has risen to 38,002.

The state recorded 342 discharges from hospitals on Saturday, taking the total discharges to 29,38,653.

So far, Karnataka has seen 29,85,598 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

The positivity rate for the day stands at 0.3% while the case fatality rate for the day is 1.88%.

As many as 6,32,50,479 people have received vaccination so far.
