choice of rajyotsava awardees reflects the poor state of affairs of present day politics as the awardee under sports and education category is a well known pioneer of cabaret dance and gambling den,and also president of bar and wine shop association of the district.

Mr. Naveen Urwa. Every one has the liberty to comment, but it should be in proper way, we can not ask anyone to come without dress or not wear coat, shoes, tie etc. Comment on subjected matter/issues and not on cloths, Hairstyle etc. No where its mentioned that kannadigas should wear traditional dress on Rajyothsava !!!!!!! No Suit, Boottttttt !!!! . If there is such rules, then i will definately appriciate this type of comments.

What statehood we are talking about where the present politicians only worried about themselves and thinking how to make money, most of the land in the state is owned by them or by their relatives.

Why DC is not saluting the kannada flag like SP and PC?

    Answer
Dc is doing the right thing by standing in attention which itself a sign of salute when not in uniform. Only people in uniform salute the flag or each other depending on the rank, while in civics standing to attention is a sign of salute.

So what Flavian Dsouza, Bangalore? What is your problem? Is there any law or rule which says only the British are entitled to wear Suits & Boots? Let there be no restrictions on Dress as long as it is decent. We have to move forward and not backward in all respects, including our attitudes and mindset.
