Bengaluru: Boards, corporations reshuffle certain - BJP prepares list

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Oct 26: Replacements of heads of corporations and boards are sure to happen after the conclusion of the bypolls. It is said that the BJP has already prepared a list of its candidates who will fill these vacant posts.

As per sources, many who are currently enjoying the statuses of the chairpersons of corporations and boards will be shunted out. Yediyurappa had appointed people to boards and corporations after completing one year in office. Now the leadership in the state has been changed, and those in the positions of boards and corporations have enjoyed power for a year. The party has decided to provide opportunities to others who are waiting in the wings, it is learnt.

The general grouse of BJP activists is that people who are close to those in power and those who lobby for the posts are getting plum posts. When the party comes to power, loyal party activists and lower rung leaders are neglected, they have been complaining. Even among the legislators, those who could not be made ministers are appeased by offering boards and corporations. This eroded the chances of some leaders of getting these posts.

This time, the list is prepared by keeping in mind the general feeling that those who sincerely do party work are accommodated.
