Karkala, Oct 26: The first death anniversary of late Gulabi Krishna Bhandary, mother of Dr Shivarama Krishna Bhandary, managing director of Shivas Hair Designers Private Limited was observed at their hometown Karkala, on Monday, October 25.

Manifold credit society limited Mumbai president, Bhandary Maha Mandala founder president Kadandale Suresh S Bhandary, Chief Guest inaugurated Gulabi Krishna Bhandary charitable trust. Head of the ashrama, Fr Bukart Berty Ammanna blessed.

Mangaluru international airport protocol police officer Gopalakrishna Kunder, Shobha Suresh Bhandary, Dr Shivarama Krishna Bhandary and Anushree Shivarama Bhandary were on the dais. Deepak D’ Mello, Kuloor Madhava Bhandary, Vishwanath Bhandary and Sharada Bhandary were present.

Meals were served as part of the death anniversary at Kristha Sevaki Ashram, Parpale and Suraksha Ashrama. Karkala, Salmara, Jarigudde. Shivarama Krishna Bhandary welcomed. Journalist Rons Bantwal compered the programme and rendered a vote of thanks.

Congress (I) leader Mithun Rai, Bhandary Maha Mandala honorary chief secretary Somashekar M Bhandary, Navin Bhandary Udupi, master Rohith Bhandary, Aradhya Bhandary and others were present. Vidwan Nagaraj Bhat offered Poojas, distributed Prasada and blessed.
