Bantwal: BJP leader Prakash from Bellur attacked, hospitalised

Bantwal, Oct 27: Unknown trouble mongers forced themselves into the residence of Prakash from Bellur, a BJP leader, on the night of Tuesday October 26 and attacked him. Injured Prakash is currently under treatment in a hospital in the town.

Prakash suffered injury in his head during this incident. Reason for the attack could not be immediately ascertained.

It is suspected that the locals were involved with the attack. Bantwal police are making an effort to find the culprits.

It is being claimed that Nitin Badagabellur, Nishant Badagabellur and Pavan Kumdel were the ones who gate-crashed into Prakash’s residence and attacked the BJP leader. It is also being claimed that the attack was backed by personal reasons, and that the accused escaped after seeing that many people had gathered at the spot.
