Mangaluru: CCB inspector Mahesh Prasad bags central government award

Mangaluru, Nov 1: City crime branch inspector (CCB) here, Mahesh Prasad, has bagged the award being given by the union home ministry for exemplary operations. This award is given for operations
launched against terrorists.

Mahesh Prasad is a native of Cherkady in Udupi district. He is a past student of Mahaveer College, Moodbidri. He has served as inspector in Karwar, Puttur, Manipal and Kaup police stations.

For the last one year, he has been serving CCB here. The award has been bestowed on him for an operation conducted against ISIS a few months back.
