Bengaluru, Nov 2: Another fan of Puneeth Rajkumar, who was devastated by the sudden demise of the matinee idol, hanged himself. The family members said he was in deep agony from the moment he came to know of his hero's demise.
Rajendra (40) from Shyanubhogarahalli near Bannerghatta happens to be the fan who hanged himself. He also donated his eyes like his idol.
Rajendra used to work on handlooms. He had become dull ever since Puneeth passed away. He had praised Puneeth for donating his eyes and asked the family to donate his eyes in case he died.
On Sunday October 31 evening, Rajendra hanged himself. In tune with his wishes, his eyes were donated to Narayana Health Center. Bannerghatta police visited the spot and undertook investigation.
