We waste most of our time, energy and money in religious fundamentalism, taking offense on posts made by some madcaps! In the presence of so many religions having crores of Gods and saints et all, it would be sheer foolishness to take an individual post so seriously, unless otherwise, he is doing it consistently with a clear intention to forment trouble in society! Imagine if we use the same time and effort productively we would be a developed nation by now! Will any such post derate or effect the purity and sanctity of a God or divine soul? Then why fight among ourselves on such issues? It shows our intolerance to humanity in the name of some God! Actually, he himself wouldn't be happy seeing this! By this viewpoint, I condemn such lowly acts by religious fanatics.

Dear Sir/Madam, Please enlighten me with your wisdom and knowledge: I have absolutely no interest in the person you are referring to. Sadly for me, I have had to waste my time finding out about this person because my choice and my human rights are brutally trampled over by evil followers of this person, who run a structure called masjid 40metres, in front of my house. They forcefully proselytize and make me hear their beliefs using 110dB horn type loudspeakers pointed toward my house. The dB level inside my house is between 80-90dB.The normal levels are between 20 -50dB. It is brutal torture like in Guantanamo Bay prison. It is like some madman continuously screaming rabidly keeping his mouth in your ear. I would have liked to exercise my choice of what I wish to hear, read and believe but these people are so evil, they have no respect for anybody’s rights and choices. It is their way or the highway. They don’t care for the Constitution and any laws of the land. None of the authorities has the guts to implement the rule of law due to mob fear. Now , if you have a conscience of a civilised human being ,then tell me: are they right or are they wrong to forcefully proselytize in a secular democratic republic and torture and harass us using high decibel loudspeakers? When these people force their beliefs and ideas upon others , why should the others not comment about their beliefs and ideas? None of my neighbours behave like these evil people.

I think this is against freedom of speech. Proper laws have to be amended as even debates on Religion cannot take place without putting Gods & their prophets into scrutiny.

Mr Clifford i am agnostic in belief. I wish to put into scrutiny all religions. Lot of things have been told about GOD that is not palatable to me. I have seen in this forum that the points put forth by me which are logical are never answered.

The blasphemy law is a blasphemy against freedom and liberty. This law must be scrapped. India is not Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Saudia, Iran, Iraq, China, Zimbabwe, Cuba etc./// In the UK, blasphemy laws were abolished in England and Wales in 2008. Other countries that have already abolished their blasphemy law include the Netherlands, Ireland, Iceland, Norway, Malta, Denmark, Canada and New Zealand. The USA, of course, stands head and shoulders above everyone as far as freedom of expression is concerned.////Any person living or dead and every God who wishes to be a public personality and who wishes that others must believe in him/her, follow and bow to him/her voluntarily or per force must be subject to critiques, scrutiny and questioning. ////It is for the State to control the "simply waiting to be offended'ers" mobsters who are prone to violence and disturbing others./// Nothing can be done to help hypocrites who feel free to offend the beliefs of others , their Gods and their leaders openly on loudspeakers but are very touchy when the spotlight is turned on them.///

When people lack knowledge, wisdom and good upbringing then they talk wrong about other religion and religious leader. There is no limit if one has to improve this faith without blaming and saying wrong about other religions. This shows mental situation of the person. The so called religious leaders should come front and guide their community to not to tell wrong about any faiths.

Can't we just stop meddling with each other's religion and provocating each other and live in peace just for once?? The future generation of India will have live hating each other by learning from the present generation.. Go learn some skills work hard and be useful for your family first.. Go earn some bread and butter for your family.. In the evenings sit with your neighbours irrespective of religion and enjoy the small evening talks just like how our grandparents did.. Celebrate every festival.. Stop ruining the beauty of diversity of this nation!! We will never grow unless we are united

Rhea R Mangalore ,you are right.Problem is when one is quiet, the other tries to make comments or does some problems ,commenting on religion ,For example here self, why the person should make some blasphemous reference on Prophet?Naturally the religious person feels very sensitive. The whole religious community feels like to be united, and goes to police.Police too are not good informed what to do in such case :Arrest someone where not needed. We as catholics too are not better .Every religion feels that they must unite.I must say this religious fact make us all to fight against each other. It was not so previously. Now it is worst.
