Mangaluru, Nov 11: Dakshina Kannada district deputy commissioner has said that buses will begin to move between the city and Kasargod only after the positivity rate in Kasargod district falls to below three percent. Therefore there are no chances of the services resuming routine trips for now.
Now Kerala has a positivity rate of 11 while Kasargod has 5. The students and daily commuters therefore continue to suffer. As schools and colleges are open now, there is an increased traffic of students. Kasargod district collector Bhandary Swagath Ranveer Chand has said that as soon as they get the green signal from Karnataka, they will begin bus services to Mangaluru.
