Udupi: Hemanath Padubidri Bags SPS State Award for Best Lighting Composition

Udupi, Nov 10: Hemanath Padubidri, Daijiword photojournalist bagged the Best Lighting Composition Award in the overall special prizes for both themes - Rural life and Moment of sports, in the state-level
Photo contest organized by Shimoga-based Sagara Photographic Society (SPS) for the youth, recently.


 

The award distribution ceremony will be held at Sagar in Shimoga on Friday November 26 and the photo exhibition will be open till Sunday November 28.  The exhibition will be organized at different places across the state.

Over 500 entries from 15 districts were received which were judged by the eminent photographer and journalist A Ishwarayya of Udupi. Selected 120 entries for the photo exhibition and Award winners were declared.

Best student entrant Award was won by Saranga T A from Sagar, Shimoga and Best lady entrant award was won by Hemashree (Hemalatha) from Bangalore in the overall special prizes for both themes of Rural life and Moment of sports.
