Jaya, kerala, I would like to bring it to your memory that Gandhi family did not rule the country for the past 20 years. Yes there was some friction in Congress, but majority of congressmen wanted Sonia to be the prime minister. If your memory is good, this friction created by BJP, and if you are a supporter of BJP you must thank her for saving us from looking at Shusma Swaraj’s bald head as she vowed to shave her head if Sonia sits on that chair. Prior to the PVNR govt V.P. Singh government was pleading the citizens to tighten the belt as there was shortage of everything due to financial crisis.

The crisis vanished as Congress govt came to power. This clearly shows the inability of others parties in managing the state of affairs. I know people of Kerala are good in their assessment and never allowed BJP to enter into the state.

How anyone can forget the sacrifices of Sonia Gandhi? If she wanted she could have ruled the country. But she knew that there is an intelligent man who can do much more than any one for the country and chose him to rule the country. Even her son declined to take any position in the cabinet, which clearly shows their selfless nature.
Some people talk about last 60 years rule of Congress without having any justification. To talk about last sixty years they must have crossed the age of 65 at least. They are not aware USA was providing milk and food for our school children in the sixties. They are not aware that India was importing almost all finished goods from abroad. It was Jawaharlal Nehru’s initiative of industrialization and Lal Bahadoor Shastry’s Jai Jawan Jai Kissan slogan made us self sufficient today. Before commenting they should understand the ground realities what India has achieved today. Congress converted India from beggar’s bowl to one of the major donors. For the first time in the history PM Dr. Manmohan Singh declined to take any outside help after Tsunami disaster. During the coalition rule of BJP/JD the government ran out of ideas and sold our reserve gold, which congress government bought it back. India according to US President is not emerging it has emerged. In these sixty years BJP contribution is very little.
