Udupi: Repeated rape of minor girl - Two accused arrested

Udupi, Nov 22: Reportedly, a minor girl was raped on different occasions over a period of two months by two young men. The incident happened within the limits of Hiriadka police station.

A case under the provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act has been registered against these two persons.

The arrested accused have been identified as Sandeep Naik and Vighnesh Naik.

The parents of the girl used to be away from home from dawn to dusk on account of work. The girl happened to be alone at her home during this time. These two men, who happen to be the relatives of her father, raped her repeatedly by posing threats to kill her parents, the mother of the victim stated in her police complaint.

    now our twin districts really become Uttar Pradesh, off late we have seen many such incidents , its a shame to our districts as these districts supposed to be role model to our state in many fronts, be it Education, employment generation, peace and prosperity, unfortunately our elected leaders are concerns only about cows, communal dis harmony , votes on basis of religion.

    This requires a Two-Way solution to prevent such anti-social elements. 1. A strict and unbiased Law and Justice System. 2. A value based Education System which stresses more on Human Values. Sadly in India, both are taken taken into granted for the selfish political motives. These selfish motives can give a very short term benefit, but in the long run they cause only disasters. People are intentionally kept uneducated, unemployed, historical negationism, spreading fake/false facts and figures, propagating hate between people of different religions, community, caste etc. People are turning blind eyes toward such untoward incidents as if it is happening to someone else, but if continues the same way, it will will definitely happen with you too someday. Wake up India, before it is too late. Jai Hind!!!

    Add to what you are saying: Parents should be held responsible if t hey leave their children alone consistently because they have to go towork. Take the child with you where y ou go. Parents must also protect theirchildren until they can live independently of them - especially if they are girls.
