Mangalore, Nov 16: The leaders and activists of Dakshina Kannada District Congress Committee (DKDCC) staged a protest in front of the deputy commissioner's office on Tuesday November 16 against the reported derogatory statements made by the RSS former chief K S Sudarshan against All India Congress Committee president Sonia Gandhi. 

The congress activists raised slogans condemning the RSS and Sudarshan.

Speaking on the occasion, DKDCC president and Bantwal MLA B Ramanath Rai said that RSS doest not have any interest towards upliftment of Hindus. If RSS had any good culture, it would not have abused a national leader with rude language.

Addressing the protestors, U T Khader, Mangalore MLA said that the RSS itself is a conspirator in the assassination of Gandhiji. Nathuram Godse was a RSS activist who killed Gandhi in 1948. Thus RSS is the root cause of terrorism in the country, he added.

Vinay Kumar Sorake, former MP, P V Mohan, AICC member, Badruddin, KPCC secretary, Congress spokesperson Harikrishna Bantwal, M G Hegde, DKDCC vice-president Ivan D’souza, Shashidar Hegde, Bondala Jagannath Shetty, Suresh Ballal, Mamatha Gatti and T K Sudhir among others were present.

    You are right.
    This people have enough time for protesting for each & every thing. If they are really a public server they have 1000 works to help the people in their daily life. Mr.Khader is a kid in Politics,he only remembers his school time test book story of Nathuram Godse.He don't know the meaning of terrorism.Now in India who is maily involved in daily terrorism & supporting terrorism? Let him read News Paper daily.He will get the names. Then let him compare. Silly guys talking nonsence. Serve for the public don't waste public money. After Independence Congrress goondas dominated Indian politics & they don't know what is the responsibilities of the Opposition Party in the house. They think talking every thing against the Ruling party is their duty. What a shame? Public already kicked you out, atleast try to come back by doing some good work.

    JOBLESS, TRULY JOBLESS?FEW DAYS AGO IT WAS IVAN'S CONGRESS WHO WERE PROTESTING. YESTERDAY IT WAS RAMANATH RAI'S CONGRESS. TOMORROW WHO? I THINK PV MOHAN CAN ORGANISE A PROTEST. ATLEAST THAT CAN BE ADDED TO HIS "IMPRESSIVE" RECORD AS A POLITICIAN. TRULY A BUNCH OF JOKERS

    Hey Congress party first file caste against the seperatrist Arundadhi Roy & Geelani and the people who attended the meeting. Later talk about MR. Sudharsan. If you(Congress) have real patriotism first file case against these seperatrist as directed by HC.Vote begging party Congress do you dare to do this?
