Mangaluru, Dec 7: Mangalore Christian Council, Mangalore Diocesan Ecumenical Commission, Karnataka Mission Network, All Karnataka United Christian Forum for Human Rights Western Zone and Senior Citizen Welfare Association organized ‘Senior Citizens Sauhardha Christmas 2021’ here at Bejai church hall on Tuesday December 7.
Bishop of Mangalore diocese Dr Peter Paul Saldanha said, “I need to give credit to the organizers for considering senior citizens to be part of Sauhardha Christmas. Due to Covid, for the last one and half years, senior citizens have stayed away from all the activities. This is the best way to celebrate Christmas with senior citizens and bring smile on their face.”

President of Senior Citizen Welfare Association Juliet Pereira welcomed the gathering, secretary Maizy D’Souza and Connie Saldanha compered the event.
