New Delhi: BSY says he Would Abide by Decision of BJP Leadership

New Delhi, Nov 23, (PTI): After striking a defiant note for days, Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa on Tuesday said he would abide by the decision of the BJP high command on him.

"Whatever decision our national leaders are going to take about me, I am going to obey their orders," he told reporters here this morning.

"Today, I am going to meet all our national leaders and I am going to explain the situation in Karnataka, We are facing Zila panchayat elections within a month," he said.
Asked if he would step down, the chief minister said, "I have not committed any mistake. I will meet the central leaders. Whatever they say, I will obey. But so far no body has asked my resignation".

The chief minister said he had discussed the "political situation" in Karnataka with senior leader Arun Jaitley and would meet other central leaders today.

Yeddyurappa is likely to meet BJP leader Nitin Gadkari later in the afternoon to discuss the crisis.

He maintained that the central leadership has not asked him to step down, adding that he had ordered an inquiry into the alleged land scams by a retired high court judge Justice B Patmaraj.

Yeddyurappa, who is claiming to have the support of 110-120 MLAs, said all community people were supporting him.

Top party leaders, including L K Advani, M M Joshi and Rajnath Singh are understood to have decided that the Chief Minister's continuance has become untenable and that he should be told to make way.

The Chief Minister has, however, kept the party guessing on his moves.

Yeddyurappa has reportedly told the party leadership that his removal might harm the first-ever BJP government in the South, for whose formation he had played a key part.

Yeddyurappa has earlier deputed a team of his loyalists, including Home Minister R Ashok, a prominent Vokkaliga leader, Higher Education Minister V S Acharya, a probable to replace the Chief Minister in the event of his exit, and some others to Delhi to persuade the party against change in leadership.

Asked if he was "blackmailing" the central BJP leadership because he was a Lingayat leader, Yeddyurappa said, "All communities are supporting me because we have 110 seats in the House. This type of communal thinking was never in my mind".

On what would be his response in case his party asked him to resign, he shot back saying, "I will not answer such questions because they have not asked me to step down."

What a surprise!!! after a long brake our BJP Hogalu Bhatta surfaced with usual "Jayakara" to Yediyoorappa. Let us see how long his "jayakara" will save his " appaji's " chair in Karnataka. I couldn't stop laughing after reading the last comedy statement that this appaji is the first chief Minister to ban the export of minerals. But this poor Hogalu Bhatta doesn't know that Appaji banned the export only after all the mines are looted and emptied by the Reddy brothers.

Let the Karnataka State citizens including the ruling BJP followers must watch and think.
Mr. Yeddi was a farmer son and he took oath in the name of farmer. How many farmers are in India having so many rings to wear and wear Rolex watch to see the time? How many farmers living in AC house [Not office or the government bungalow]? Yeddi is very clear that he did so many evil using his power and cheated the whole Karnataka State as well India too. He accepted that he is corrupt and blaming the previous CM. If previous Chief Ministers did the same corruption why Yeddi kept quite? He was the opposition leader and he knew all this. In all the way he kept quite so many years and now he is in power and he want to make maximum with in five years. In the whole world the Karnataka State Ministers are ranked 1 in corruption, cheating, poor administration, and highly motivating communal issues. These people must throw to fire. May be fire also get scare because they are so wicked people?

Recently, when BJP high command tried to interfere in dissidents matter Yeddyurappa bluntly asked the reporters "who is high command"
These words had pinched Advani and Shushma hardly.
But the govt.was breathing on ventilators so they
    swallowed their anger.
Now too, it looks sacking Yeddy is far more harmful than retaining him.
Delay to take decision on Yeddy is nothingbut tug of war in
    between top leaders.
Cunning fox Yeddy is trying to yield maximum in the bargain as he knows falling from such a height could cause permanent damages to his political career.
    Yeddy's statement abide
by high command order is only fooling people.

One thing is sure,if BJP survives and Yeddy sinks he will pull down
    some more with him.

Yeddy....finally... you Chaddi is unbuttoned. Matter of time before it is taken off and exposed the pink chaddy to the world!

The worst corrupt CM ever in Karnatak. The best part is... he has admitted to the land scam so he is proven guilty and a party to the scam. I also understnad he distributed Rs 100-230 sarees and claimed Rs 1400 for each saree. How many more crores gets into his bank??

People of Karnataka, wake up, let us join together and kick him out before he kicks our empty stomachs.

Mr. CM, you lost your vitality
and teeth, now acting like an
    old Lion.

Formerly, you acted like "I am the
BJP and BJP is me", but now the
    tone missed the clarity after
your meeting with the BJP leaders in New Delhi.

    By these symptoms, something is
very clear to the people of
    Karnataka that your leadership
    is getting flimsy every day.
