Kasargod, Dec 9: A lorry laden with red stone toppled after its driver lost its control at Bolkanadka on Mundithadka-Pallam road here on Thursday December 9. One died and two others suffered injuries in the incident.
The deceased is identified as Sudheer (30) from Jharkhand. Two people including the driver escaped with minor injuries. They are identified as Arjun and Ajay.
The driver lost control over the lorry at a curve near Bolkanadka Anganwadi. The vehicle hit a roadside wall and toppled.
Even though locals rescued Sudheer who was stuck under the lorry and rushed him to the hospital, he died without responding to treatment.
Badiadka station police registered a case in this connection.
