Dubai: Mangalore Konkans' Family Fiesta on Dec 3

Dubai, Nov 24: ‘Family Fiesta 2010’, the annual family-oriented event with Christmas theme, of Mangalore Konkans Dubai, will be presented at Sharjah Wanderers Sports Club, Sharjah, on December 3, 2010. The programme is set to commence at 10 am.
Mangalore Konkans Dubai, which has a history of organising such social events impeccably, has not spared any effort in ensuring that the entertainment and ambience of this programme will live up to expectations of the audience.
Santosh Nazareth, president of Mangalore Konkans Dubai, and Sonali Fernandes, chairperson of the event, stated reassuringly that all out efforts have been made in organising the Family Fiesta 2010 in a grand manner, duly promising that it will be among the best festivities witnessed here during this year. Backed by great team work that the organization’s members are well-known for, apart from support from its sponsors and well wishers, this occasion promises to be a grand gala event.
The primary attraction of the event will be the performance by an African band, ‘Afro D Ziac’, which has carved out a name for itself, not only in Africa, but also around the world and the UAE as well, for its unique multi-lingual performances. Local Konkani artistes will also perform on this occasion.
It is worth mentioning that the event will have plenty of foot-tapping music, and major chunk of time would be earmarked for music and dancing. A Christmas carol jamboree is also being included to enhance the Christmas spirit.
Anil Menezes, a well-known master of ceremony, will compere the Family Fiesta 2010.
Children will have more than their share of fun with the jumping castle, face painting, loads of other games and best of all – Santa Claus. Various game stalls have been arranged to awaken the competitive spirits. A creative Christmas tableau will be yet another attraction. The audience will also have a chance to win prizes through various games, like the sponsors’ game, novelty dance, spot prizes etc. A wonderful buffet lunch, cost of which is included in the ticket price, will be served.
Mangalore Konkans Dubai, a pioneer in charity works in India, the UAE and worldwide, and whose mission is to provide aid towards educating the poor children as well as providing medical aid to the sick, will use the proceeds of the Family Fiesta 2010 for these noble causes.
