Mangalore, Nov 24: The BJP district unit celebrated the party High Command’s decision to continue B S Yeddyurappa as the Chief Minister of Karnataka and party’s triumph in the Bihar assembly election on Wednesday November 24.

BJP district unit president Padmanabha Kottari and other BJP leaders Srikar Prabhu and Mangalore south MLA N Yogish Bhat among others celebrated the occasion by waving party flags, burning crackers and distributing sweets.

BJP leaders and workers in city celebrated the victory by taking out a procession from BJP office in PVS circle to Navabharat Circle.

Nitish Kumar-led NDA crossed the majority mark in the Bihar Assembly 2010 and the BJP High Command on Wednesday officially stated that it will not dismiss Yeddyurappa and that a probe had already been ordered to look into the land scams allegations against him.

it is really shame to celebrate this victory, and even the supporters. when he has agreed that he has done the corruption and these mad people are supporting him these are called educated uncivilized.
i agree that all the politicians are corrupted but don't support them when there are wrong. the level of corruption congress did in 60 yrs the BJP is over taking them in 5yrs for sure . wake kannadiga's don't support the culprits whichever party they belong to.

I dont care who supports or not supports them, but it was a big win against the crook Lalu and his wife ,against goondaisum in Bihar .
We can also see that the congress has also crooks and also JDs ,our Gowda is the most hillarious one.
Not to forget our PM,SONIA who lists the top in also the blackmoney.

It is surely a sad day for Karnataka and BJP. Today, as expected, we can see a vicotry for Corruption, Crime and Cheating. I never thought the honorable heads of BJP will stoop down to blackmail and allow Yeddy to continue! It is really sad. I would call this as a defeat of what BJP stood for.

It is also sad to note that the religious heads from Lingayat community is also supporting crime and Corruption. Where Karnataka is leading to? I am sure nothing but self destruction.

My appeal to educated Kannadigas... wake up and look at the reality. We should not care about the party but the ethical status of our leaders when we chose them.

In the present circumstances, I think only God can save our cherished Karnataka.

Very funny people in BJP. They rejected Modi from entering Bihar for election support. Now Nithish Kumar won the election and BJP got some seats because Nitish worked with seat sharing formula. The BJP had no competition from Nithish wherever they fielded their candidates. The joy is because Eddy is back and not for Nithish Kumar's victory. Congress has guts to withdraw Chavan and Raja but BJP has no shame.
